Some Philosophical Links
Came across some good links the few days about self-actualization, having a mission statement, and mental heuristics…

Guess I identify with most of the attributes listed at the 2nd link, except the part about telling hurtful jokes.
Guess I need to work on that. I definitely want to act on the mission statement piece when I can, too…
Global Net Traffic
Since I do web development for a living, I think I should probably start posting things of interest to me in the field. So, I’ll start with a nice little map of global Internet traffic…
2012 Garbage
Welcome to post #2 of 2009 – that’s one more than I had last year
. Guess that must mean I’ve got some time to kill, since unfortunately it tends to be about the last thing I think of to do…
Recently I’ve been starting to hear more Y2K-like paranoia about the end of the world being upon us. This time it’s come in the form of doomsday predictions surrounding the year 2012 – the so-called end of the Mayan calendar. One of many problems with the theory is that it isn’t actually the end of the Mayan calendar, according to many Mayan scholars.

In any case, when we wake up December 22nd, 2012, I wonder in what form the next doomsday prediction will come. But that still doesn’t mean I won’t still watch the movie
Welcome!
I figured I’d give shaungeisert.com another go after last year’s failed resolution to maintain my and Kelly’s own personal website. So, it’s not much, but we’ll start things off by posting some photos of our best Xmas present – 2 Australian Shepherd puppies
